Description:
Under general supervision reviews and assembles completed field investigations for compliance with national standards and customer requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
: Ensures the timely review and preparation of reports of investigation for submission to Manager for final review.
: Reviews completed work for quality assurance purposes.
: Reviews Field Investigator reports to ensure they are reasonable and accurate.
: Must have an understanding of the essential functions of a background investigator to include the requirements to satisfy investigative case acceptance.
Required Qualifications:
: Requires successful completion of an approved reviewer/closer training course.
: Requires a Bachelors degree or equivalent work:related and/or military experience.
: Must have 2:4 years OPM Field Background Investigator experience and knowledge of OPM Investigator Handbook.
: Must have a current favorable SSBI to work on the contract and must be able to maintain a favorable SSBI.
