Responsibilities
At the direction of supervisor, assists withmaintenance, monitoring, and performance of preventive maintenance on allequipment including, but not limited to, refrigeration, heat exchanger, HVAC,electrical, emergency backup systems and hot water systems;
Monitors operation, adjusts, and maintainsrefrigeration, chilled water, and air conditioning equipment; boilers, andventilating and hot water heaters; pumps, valves, piping and filters; othermechanical and electrical equipment; record readings and make adjustments wherenecessary to ensure proper operation of equipment.
Requires the ability to analyze the operation ofvarious systems, determine the cause of any problems/malfunctions and takecorrective action as required.
Assist with the installation and repairplumbing/piping/tubing; wire single and three phase motors (single & twospeed); run conduit; pull wiring to machinery, motors, operating parts, etc.;
Install and rebuild pumps and motors; install andrebuild air compressors; heat exchangers; replace bearings in all types ofmotors; replace seals on pumps; install and repair piping, valves, filters, hotwater systems and associated controls; assist other mechanics and operators withmajor repairs and maintenance of building and equipment.

Monitor operation, repair, and maintainrefrigeration, water cooling and air conditioning equipment; boilers, heating,ventilating and hot water equipment; pumps, valves, piping and filters; othermechanical and electrical equipment; recording readings as necessary to assureproper operation of equipment; responsible for reporting anyproblems/malfunctions
Comply with departmental policy for the safe storage,usage, and disposal of hazardous materials. Maintains a clean and safeworkplace.
Qualifications
Performs additional duties as requested.
High School diploma
Electrical and/or HVAC License
Two years of trades schooling in electrical systemdesign, refrigeration and HVAC.
Working knowledge of computer applications includingWord and Excel.
Valid Drivers License (ifMobile)
